Mentorship Program
JACO Rehab welcomes recent graduates from physical therapy programs to apply. Recent grads can take advantage of our mentorship program to gain confidence in clinical application.
As one of the only clinics on Oahu that performs true one-on-one physical therapy care, you will have the unique opportunity to fully apply knowledge from your degree and your mentorship to your caseload.
JACO’s mentorship program is also designed to help seasoned clinicians build their skillset as needed. Physical therapists who are switching settings can sharpen their orthopedic skills by taking advantage of the program.
Mentorship includes:
- Weekly meetings with a senior therapist
- Hands-on clinical practice built into your schedule
- In-service and case study presentations
- Feedback from your mentor and peers
Confident Transitions Using a Mentor
Rebecca Enderica shared her experience with her mentor, Miwa Matsumoto, as she transitioned to her new position at JACO Rehab:
“When I got to Hawaii to work at JACO, I had been a physical therapist going on 4 years but having a mentor gave me confidence that transitioning to a brand new place with new ins and outs of the job would be a smooth transition, without necessarily being made to feel like a new graduate.
